SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Fulton County police are investigating a deadly wreck along Fulton Industrial Boulevard.
The wreck happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Fulton Industrial and James Alderage boulevards.
Investigators said a car hit a tractor-trailer, killing the driver on impact.
Police told Channel 2's Nefertiti Jaquez that the cab of the tractor-trailer caught on fire, but the driver of the rig was able to get out.
Emergency crews had to use the Jaws of Life to cut the driver out of the car.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was also called out to the crash.
So far, investigators have not released the identity of the driver who was killed.
