SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Traffic was brought to a halt on Monday morning when a prefabricated building fell off of a tractor trailer onto Interstate 85.
The accident happened in the northbound lanes just before I-285 near the airport in south Fulton County.
The 135,000-pound building with a concrete foundation split open when it slid off the flatbed trailer just before 10 a.m.

“They said it just started rocking coming through this stretch of road and tipped over, hit the ground and busted,” said Jeff Poquette with Southside Wrecker.
Crews shut down several lanes as they worked to clear the area.
Drivers experienced delays of more than an hour.
No one was hurt when the building fell off the trailer.
