SPALDING COUNTY, Ga. — Two people were arrested in a million-dollar drug bust in Spalding County.
Search warrants were executed at a home on High Falls Road and a 96-acre farm on Head Road in Griffin.
The Sheriff’s Office said agents seized 21 kilograms, approximately 54 pounds, of cocaine and more than $500,000 in cash. The cocaine has a street value of $1.5 million, the sheriff's office said.

Agents also seized four vehicles, a skid steer and a cattle trailer that they say were involved in the distribution of illegal narcotics.
Homeland Security agents arrested Cupertino Mendoza and Iartina Zapata.
They have been charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, among other charges. The suspects are being held at the Spalding County jail.
