ATLANTA — Hotels and restaurants across downtown Atlanta will be getting another playoff bump this weekend, courtesy of the Falcons' march to the Super Bowl.
Last weekend, Falcons fans Summer Woods and Michael Atencil were all smiles.
The Southern California couple had tickets to the Seahawks game, but they didn’t have a hotel room.
"We had the tickets booked. We weren’t sure where we're staying, but we'll figure it out somehow,” Woods said.

There was a big convention in town, but demand remained as high as ever.
With a trip to the Super Bowl now on the line, 68 percent of the rooms at the Castleberry Inn near the Georgia Dome are already booked.
"A weekend like this, we expect to see a pretty good bump in occupancy. The Packers travel well. They have some pretty rambunctious fans,” hotel manager Zane Major said.
Woods and Atencil finally found a room at a bed and breakfast.
"And even by the hour, they were disappearing-- the rooms available. So we were very fortunate,” Atencil said.

Now they’re trying to figure out how to fly home, buy tickets to the title game on the secondary market, fly back and hopefully find a place to stay.
"The conversation is whether or not we can make it happen with our finances. But we'd definitely like to come back if we can,” Woods said.
