WALTON COUNTY, Ga. — Murder charges have been filed against the parents of a baby girl who was taken off life support Monday, three months after she was hospitalized with injuries she suffered when her father allegedly beat her.
Murder warrants were secured on Tuesday for parents Jamie Cason Whited and Justin Lee Whited for the
.
She had been on life support for three months at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston because her father would not agree to have her taken off the machines keeping her alive.

Dinah was pronounced dead at 3:31 p.m. Monday.
Until Tuesday, the father was only charged with assaulting his daughter and the mother was facing child cruelty charges because authorities say she failed to protect the baby. %
