ATLANTA — WSB-TV is partnering with the Georgia World Congress Center Authority for a live broadcast of the Georgia Dome demolition.
There has been an outpouring of interest around the country to view the implosion, and we want to make the event available to as many fans around the world as possible.

The Georgia Dome tweeted a final goodbye minutes before the implosion Monday.

WSB-TV is partnering with the Georgia World Congress Center Authority for a LIVE broadcast of the Georgia Dome demolition. WATCH Channel 2 Action News This Morning for LIVE Team 2 Coverage.
Due to the required restricted zone around the dome, as well as road closures, there won’t be a public viewing area for the demolition.
“Out of an abundance of caution, we are asking the community for their support in ensuring roadways around the campus are as clear as possible,” commented Frank Poe, executive director of the GWCCA. “Detour routes around the 220-acre campus will reroute traffic away from the Georgia Dome and out of viewable range.”
