GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — Lawyers have finished filling the jury pool for the Ross Harris murder trial.
The total stands at 45, which means no more jurors will be brought to the courthouse.
These 45 will return Oct. 3 -- at which time lawyers will make their final strikes and almost immediately launch into Opening Statements.
Harris is accused of leaving his 2-year-old son, Cooper, in a hot SUV in 2014.
The judge moved the trial from Cobb County to Glynn County in order to find an impartial jury.
Once the trial was moved, it sparked media coverage of the case, causing jurors to form opinions similar to those in Cobb County.
“It is not even in my realm of thinking that anyone would leave a living thing in his car. I mean, you know, that’s murder,” one potential juror said.
Another potential juror, a mother of a 3-year-old, got emotional in the courtroom thinking about the case.
Through tears, she said she could put her personal opinions aside and listen to the case, but upon further review realized that she just couldn't sit through the images.

Several other jurors admitted that they cannot put their feelings aside and listen to the evidence in the case.
Many jurors said they had heard about the case, but knew few details.
"When it initially happened, I was under the impression that it was simply an accident, that it was strictly an accident," one potential juror said.
Per the judge’s instructions, most jurors are doing their best to avoid media coverage of the case.
One juror said she came out of her kitchen and saw Harris’ picture on the TV and turned around and left the room.
