BIDDEFORD, Maine — A little boy has quite a fight on his hands. Brock Chadwick, 7, has been battling a rare brain cancer for seven months.
He's had brain surgery to remove multiple tumors in his head and abnormal tissue in his spine. Despite the surgery, the cancer returned, WGME reported.
Now Brock is asking strangers to help shine a light during his favorite time of the the year -- Halloween.
Brock's family is asking Halloween cards to be sent to the boy. In only five days after the request went out, Brock received 30 cards and even a few extra presents, WGME reported.
