What to know now:
1. Missing emails: Emails from Hillary Clinton's State Department IT director have apparently gone missing. Bryan Pagliano's emails from the time he served as Clinton's senior information technology staffer cannot be located, a State Department spokesman told reporters Monday. "The Department has searched for Mr. Pagliano's email pst file and has not located one that covers the time period of Secretary Clinton's tenure," State Department spokesman Elizabeth Trudeau said. A pst is a file format that holds email.

2. Weather deaths: At least two people were killed and several more injured after an outbreak of tornadoes in Oklahoma. One victim, a man in his late 70s, was killed in Wynnewood, Okla. A "tornado emergency" was issued for Wynnewood just before the storm hit. Forecasters noted that the storm had the potential to be particularly violent.
3. DOJ, NC file suits: Both the Department of Justice and the governor of North Carolina filed lawsuits Monday over the new law that directs people in North Carolina to the bathroom they should use. The DOJ suit says North Carolina operates under a "pattern or practice of employment discrimination on the basis of sex." North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory claims in his suit that the government engaged in a "baseless and blatant overreach" in trying to get the law overturned.
4. Facebook and conservative news: Does Facebook have a bias against conservative news? A former employee says so. The ex-employee told the website Gizmodo that employees at Facebook have often omitted conservative political stories from the site's "trending list." The unnamed ex-employee said other stories were "artificially" added to the list that is supposedly created by computer algorithms. Topics that fall under "trending" see a boost in traffic from Facebook readers. Facebook denied the report saying, "rigorous guidelines" are in place to maintain neutrality in the "trending" section.
