Michael Doudna, WSB-TV

Michael Doudna has been part of the WSB-TV family since August 2023. Reporting for WSB-TV is a homecoming for the Atlanta native, and he looks forward to building on the legacy the station built over 75 years. Before joining Channel 2, Michael spent five years working for KPNX in Phoenix, Arizona. While there, Michael covered a wide range of topics, from the death of John McCain to flooding and fires throughout Arizona. While working in Phoenix, Michael won his first Emmy on his wedding night in 2020. Before working in Phoenix, Michael was the state political reporter for four TV stations based in Montgomery, Alabama. Michael covered an eventful period in Alabama politics that saw a governor resign, a house speaker face ethics charges, and Roy Moore lose a senate race to Doug Jones. Michael is a graduate of the University of Missouri. He also graduated from Milton High School in 2011, where he played football and basketball (sitting on the bench on the 2010 state championship team). Michael is a die-hard Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Mizzou fan.
