ATLANTA — For 27 years, Cliff Kinsey says the Children’s Restoration Network has helped get children and teens living in foster care group homes the tools they need for success.

“We think every child deserves a childhood,” CRN CEO Cliff Kinsey said. “One of our fundamental core beliefs is education. It’s such a big key to shattering that cycle of homelessness that a lot of these kids are in.”

For years, CRN has been WSB-TV’s Stuff the Bus school supply drive partner. Historically, Stuff the Bus has encouraged viewers to donate school supplies at buses parked around metro Atlanta. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event will be virtual.

Thanks to a partnership with the Georgia Center for Nonprofits and the Georgia Foundation for Public Education, you can now go online and donate to CRN or to the public school district of your choice.

“Please understand the need is just as great as it ever (was),” Kinsey emphasized. “One of my favorite sayings is ‘a lot of little bricks build a big house,‘” Kinsey said. “Don’t think because you don’t have a lot of money that a dollar or two is not going to make a difference, because it does.”
