ATLANTA — A Dallas resident has come forward as the winner of Georgia’s unclaimed $7.5 million Mega Millions prize.
Christina Ford, 64, was one of two winners to split a $15 million jackpot July 22.
Ford played using the Quik Pik option and was in disbelief when she saw her winning numbers drawn on TV.
“I thought it was a dream. I kept saying, ‘Yeah, right. This can’t be true,’” she said.
Her winning ticket was purchased at Kroger #0634 at 8876 Dallas Acworth Highway. The second ticket that shared the jackpot was sold in Virginia.
