The pot thickens: No Mega Millions winner Friday night means even larger jackpot next week

ATLANTA — If you are waking up Saturday morning and checking to see if you’ve won Friday night’s gigantic Mega-Millions jackpot, we’ve got some bad news.

You didn’t win.

The $750 million top prize will go unclaimed yet again as nobody matched the numbers. If you want to check, the numbers drawn here at the Channel 2 studios Friday night were 3, 11, 12, 38, 43, with a Mega Ball of 15. If you are lucky, you may have won one of the other prizes.

Mega millions estimates the next jackpot, drawn this coming Tuesday at the Channel 2 studios is estimated right now at $850 million. That would make it the second largest pot in the games history. Of course that could grow depending on advance ticket sales.

In case you are wondering, the cash payout which many people select for lottery drawings, would pay you roughly $628 million. Which would work just fine.
