2015 Holiday Programming on WSB-TV

“Charlie Brown,” a new holiday baking show and the gang from “Toy Story” will dominate a celebration-filled holiday ABC programming schedule for 2015.

Tuesday, November 24

"A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" at 8 p.m. -- The Peanuts gather around Charlie's Ping-Pong table for an unusual feast.

Thursday, November 26

"Macy's Great Tree Lighting" at 8 p.m. (encore presentation) -- Jovita Moore and Craig Lucie with the annual tradition from Lenox Square Mall. Featuring performances by Jordin Sparks, Mercy Me and Danny Gokey.

Friday, November 27

"Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" at 8 p.m. -- A mailman (the voice of Fred Astaire) explains Santa.

Monday, November 30

"It's Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown" at 8 p.m. -- Kristen Bell hosts a celebration honoring the iconic animated tale, "A Charlie Brown Christmas," 

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" at 9 p.m. -- Charlie Brown and Linus ponder Christmas; including ``Prep & Landing: Operation Secret Santa.'' 

"The Great Holiday Baking Show" (series premiere) at 10 p.m. -- Cookies that are unique and delicious; flavorful and elaborate gingerbread houses.

Thursday, December 3

"Toy Story That Time Forgot" at 8 p.m. -- During a post-Christmas play date, the "Toy Story" gang find themselves in unchartered territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. 

"Shrek the Halls" at 8:30 p.m. -- Just when Shrek thought he could finally sit back, relax and enjoy his happily ever after with his new family, the most joyous of all holidays arrives. 

"CMA Country Christmas" at 9 p.m. -- Some of the biggest names in music will come together to celebrate the holidays on "CMA Country Christmas."

Saturday, December 5

"2015 Children's Christmas Parade" at 10:30 a.m. -- Benefiting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, the holiday event is hosted by Fred Blankenship and Linda Stouffer. Floats, balloons, marching bands and - of course - Santa Claus travel the route down Peachtree Street between 16th and 5th Streets.

Monday December 7

"The Great Christmas Light Fight" (season premiere) at 8 p.m. -- ABC's hit holiday decorating competition series returns for its third season.

"The Great Holiday Baking Show" at 10 p.m. -- Hosted by Nia Vardalos ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding") and husband Ian Gomez ("Cougar Town").

Thursday, December 10

"Toy Story 20th Anniversary Special" at 8 p.m. -- The special will take a look at how Pixar's early beginnings making short, digitally-animated films lead them to take the bold step of making the first feature length computer animated film, "Toy Story."

"Toy Story" at 9 p.m. -- Tim Allen and Tom Hanks provide the voices for two tough toys on a dangerous journey when supercharged playthings come to life.

Monday, December 14

"The Great Christmas Light Fight" at 8 p.m. -- In each episode, four families compete for a cash prize as they transform their homes into a festive wonderland for the holidays. 

"The Great Holiday Baking Show" at 10 p.m. -- Hosted by Nia Vardalos ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding") and husband Ian Gomez ("Cougar Town").

"Celebration Bowl Preview" at 10:30 a.m. -- Fred Blankenship, Erin Coleman and Zach Klein with the pregame excitement and community support for the inaugural Celebration Bowl, live from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The bowl will match up champions from two HBCU conferences - the Mid-Eastern Athletic and Southwestern Athletic.

"I want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown" at 8 p.m. -- "I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown!" centers on ReRun, the lovable but ever-skeptical younger brother of Linus and Lucy.
