The creators of Santa’s Fantastical are taking over the former Goldberg’s space at Avalon and transforming it into Santa’s Secret ‘Stache (The ‘Stache), a festive hangout serving seasonally themed cocktails, in addition to sweets from nationally recognized dessert company Milk Bar as well as other local bakeries.
Buckhead is even cheerier thanks to the return of The Blind Elf Holiday Pop-Up Bar. The Blind Pig Parlour Bar has temporarily transformed into a magical gathering spot guaranteeing sleigh loads of merriment throughout the holidays.
Guests enter a festive wonderland of over-the-top décor and twinkling lights to discover a variety of warm and chilly holiday-themed drinks, candy cane shots, beer, wine, and bubbles to ensure a spirited mood. The Blind Elf Experience ($54 plus gratuity and tax) features two cocktails and two food items per person.
Jolly guests will jingle the night away with a selection of holiday-themed cocktails, a menu of light bites from culinary director Rodney Smith Jr., a playlist of holiday tunes and festive décor, and twinkly lights. Drinks from Virtue Rooftop’s full cocktail menu also will be available.
The Rooftop Holiday Bar will be open Thursday-Saturday evenings from 5-11 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis for those 21 years old and over with no cover charge.
This holiday season, Hampton + Hudson, the community bar and restaurant in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood offering elevated pub food, craft cocktails, beer and wine, will host a Ski Lodge Pop-up to celebrate the most joyful and cozy time of year from Monday, December 12 through Friday, December 23. The pop-up will be open 6-11pm nightly, and walk-ins are welcome. The pop-up will be located on the restaurant’s mezzanine level and will welcome guests to step into a comforting and cozy atmosphere. Servers will don checkered flannel and merrily serve holiday cocktails, including shotskis, plus a special food menu, including festive apps, entrees and desserts, like a s’mores board.
The neighborhood burger joint will usher in the holidays with its Winter Wonder Bar – a whimsical pop-up bar set to serve festive cocktails from 4-9pm on weekdays and 11:30am-10pm on weekends. Slinging cocktails through New Year’s Eve, the experience will transport guests to a holiday wonderland complete with nostalgic lights, festive decor and an imaginative beverage menu that would charm even the Grinch himself.

Featuring an explosion of tinsel and twinkling lights, holiday-inspired cocktails and small bites, and photo moments, the whimsical experience will be open daily Thursday, December 1 through Saturday, December 24 from 4pm until close. Throughout the season, Tinsel Tavern will host festive themed nights – think Dancing Elves Silent Disco and an Ugly Sweater Party – and Family Day every Sunday from 4-7pm, where kids can visit Santa, enjoy coloring stations and more.
The Blitzen Room at Biltong Bar
Biltong Bar is “Up to Snow Good” as they transform their space for the third annual holiday pop-up: The Blitzen Room. The restaurant will feature swanky, vintage Christmas decor and seasonally themed cocktails from Chartreuse Hot Chocolate to Frozen Egg Nog.
Holiday Social Bar on The Roof
Just inside the tower lobby at Ponce City Market, the Holiday Social Bar will welcome Roof-goers with an over-the-top experience bursting with whimsical decor and holiday drinks.
12 Cocktail Bar is celebrating the season with a MixMas cocktail menu with returning favorite “Sleigh Fuel,” a spiked coffee eggnog made with Old Grand-Dad Bourbon, plus new holiday-inspired cocktails. Reservations are highly recommended.
Cozy up this holiday season inside private, six-person igloos on Ponce City Market’s Roof, located alongside the ice-skating rink and at 9 Mile Station! Skate the Sky’s rink-side igloos will be available for all-age and 21+ parties (based on time and day). Premium igloos will open on weekdays starting at 3pm for all ages and come with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine or round of hot chocolate and a $100 food and beverage tab. Skate the Sky igloos include general admission to The Roof, skate rentals, 50 minutes of skate time and unlimited games and rides at Skyline Park (when available).
The Grove Terrace has transformed into The North Pole, a winter wonderland set within a festive igloo overlooking The Grove at Colony Square + the magically decorated Midtown. Step into this holiday speakeasy to enjoy festive cocktails provided by Establishment + more.
