Garden Lights, Holiday Nights at the Atlanta Botanical Garden

Take in spectacular lighted sculptures and nature’s wonders...the world’s largest choreographed curtain of light and sound, which returns with new music and motion! Masks and social distancing is enforced, and timed tickets must be purchased online, ahead time.

Dahlonega’s Old Fashioned Christmas

Bedecked in thousands of twinkling lights, a show-stopping two-story Christmas tree on the square and a new-for-2020 Festival of Trees with 10-12 brightly decorated Christmas trees on display in Hancock Park, the town looks and feels like a holiday wonderland. Of note, all of the trees used in the Festival of Trees will be wild trees that will be planted at the end of the season. Family-friendly holiday special activities include carriage rides (additional cost) and boutique holiday shopping as Dahlonega’s eclectic selection of merchants offer extended hours and the annual Christmas Market, put on by the Dahlonega Women’s Club. For the grownups, the new Winter Wine Tour of Tasting Rooms is the perfect way to enjoy tastings of Dahlonega’s renowned wineries as you stroll around the square.

Skate the Station

Skaters are invited to glide around the popular rink at Atlantic Station amongst the twinkling lights and holiday magic of the West Midtown mixed-use destination. General admission tickets are on sale now for $15, and season passes are available for $60; skate rental is included with ticket price.

Atlanta Festival of Lights

With colorful displays, beautiful twinkling lights and holiday tunes filling up the car, guests can enjoy a cheerful ride through this Atlantic Station attraction. The magical drive-thru will be open for festive guests through Jan. 18. The cost to attend is $25 per car Sunday through Thursday and $35 per car on Friday and Saturday.

World of Illumination’s Candy Rush REMIX EDITION!

It’s a delicious and whimsical wonderland at the World of Illumination’s Candy Rush. The light show features a magical 3D component, simulated snowfall and LED lights that can be customized to as many as 16 million different hues. This fun, safe, and touchless experience, open now through Jan 24 6-10 pm nightly. Online reservations are required. Tickets are $49.95 plus tax per vehicle…so as many people as want to pile in a car can for $49.95. Tickets at www.worldofillumination.com – no tickets sold at the gate.

The Rink at Park Tavern

A beloved annual tradition, this year, guests of all ages are invited to enjoy a new theme at The Rink at Park Tavern, A Miracle on 10th Street. Setting the scene, a winter wonderland featuring an abundance of festive and kitschy decor, makes for unforgettable experiences and Instagrammable moments seven days a week. Holiday cheer promises to be abound with an array of seasonal cocktails served in playful glassware, delicious fare, special events, all day skate sessions, themed skate nights, cozy fire pits, and much more. Guests of all ages can enjoy skating experiences for $15 Monday through Thursday and $20 Friday through Sunday until 8 p.m. At 8:30 p.m., The Rink at Park Tavern becomes an ages 16 and up venue until midnight.
