Adoptable pets from Atlanta Humane Society Hello there! Get ready to fall in love because I love you already... and I haven't even met you yet! My name is Tank, and I am very affectionate. I like to give sweet kisses and big hugs! I get really excited when I meet new people so I've been learning some new manners with my friends here and am practicing sitting down when saying hi. I'm also working on my crate training because I have separation anxiety, and I need to feel comfortable and safe when I'm alone. I am strong, but I'm easy to walk on my leash... and I love my walks! I also like to be petted, but I am pretty low key about it and won't beg for pets. I like learning new tricks and my friends here are teaching me paw and how to wave hi to all my new friends. I especially love the treat part of my training time with them- yuuuummm. I am a great sized girl and I walk pretty politely on my leash. I could use some manners when walking near other dogs though. I like to bark at them (who doesn't?) and I am not a big fan of being around them, so I hope I can be your only princess at home! I am very sweet with people though. I met many children, and I do just fine with them as long as they respected my space and body. I love attention and affection, and will even do an adorable head tilt for you when you come up to greet me. I like to run around outside. I love to play outdoors! I am a strong, athletic guy who wants lots of exercise, so I hope you like to be on the go, too. I'm very smart, and I catch on to things quickly. I even already know some basic manners. I would do best with an active owner who has time to help me improve my leash walking skills so we can enjoy lots of walks together (I pull a bit so I hope you haven't missed arm day at the gym). As soon as you get me out I an a very polite girl who walks well on a leash! I love puzzle toys and rope toys, but being outside and going for walks is my favorite thing ever! I would enjoy exercise, training and playing with you! I am not a big fan of cats and would prefer not to live with one. My second favorite place is the cat tree where I can climb up high and in the holes. I loved lying beside my foster Mom getting scratched all over and where I can rub all over her and purr! I'm not exactly a lap cat, but I like being held and pampered. I enjoy living with other cats and like just having them "hang" around with. I am a little intimidated by the resident dog and try to keep my distance, so I don't know if I would like to live with dogs. I don't have any known experience with children. I'm a loyal litter box user and enjoy wet food even as a treat. It's great exploring all over the house, and I will come if you call me. I am the most affectionate and loves to play fetch with the worm toy. I'm kind of a dare devil that climbed to the top of the floor to ceiling catpole on day 2. That's the good news----the better news is I figured out how to get down by myself (which can sometimes be a challenge at first. Since I'm just a kitty, my favorite things to do are sleeping, playing and even getting into a little mischief sometimes. Between my exercise, I like to nap under the coffee table and play with puzzle toys. Everyone says I'm really smart! I love to be petted and touched, so you can pet me any time... I may even ask to be petted! I am housebroken and almost always potty outside. I get really excited when I see other dogs and sometimes forget about my size, but I am always eager to play. I am currently relaxing in a foster home where they give me lots of treats as I show off some of my skills like "sit", "shake", and "down". My leash manners are pretty good until I see something I need to check out, then I pull a little. I don't have any known history living with children, but honestly, I love my humans so much that I just want them all to myself, and I want all of their attention on me. I love playing independently with soft toys, and my favorite napping spots are in the window so I can nap in the sunshine! I love to be outside and explore, and I'm easy to walk. I've learned a lot during my lifetime, so I'm well behaved, potty trained and just easy to have around. Adoptable pets from Atlanta Humane Society Hi, I'm Finn. I love petting and will gently nudge you to ask for more. I enjoy meeting new people and am friendly towards them, especially if they pet me. I love playing, too, mostly with stuffed animals, but a peanut butter stuffed Kong is my favorite! I'm very gentle when I play "keep away" with my foster. And, boy, do I love to play! I'm potty trained, crate trained love walks, car rides and going for walks. Because I have LOTS of energy, I would do best in a home with an active person who likes to go on several walks each day. And I would love to live in a home with a fenced yard, or one located near a large play area where I can run around. I'm a big, super strong fella, so I can be a handful on my walks until I burn off some of my energy. My Foster uses a chest harness on me to help with my pulling, and with time and acclimation to a new home and family, he says I can be trained to walk more gently. I don't currently live with another dog, but I get excited to see them when I'm out walking. My past owner said I liked dogs. I'm also not a fan of loud noises. My leash manners are great until I see a squirrel but we're working on that! I am not a high energy dog and I do LOVE to snuggle! My foster mom says one of my favorite things to do is sit in the sun gazing out the window. She also says I love playing with toys, I am potty trained, and I am crate trained too. I love meeting new people, but I do get excited when I meet them, so it is best that I live in a home with older children.
