ATLANTA — Rapper Young Dro will be serving time in jail after  throwing banana pudding at his girlfriend in a July altercation.

The tabloid site reported that, according to a Fulton County Court official, the "Shoulder Lean" rapper will get extra credit of a day for each day of good behavior.

As a result, Dro, 40, could be released as soon as Oct. 5, TMZ reported, and he would serve the remainder of his 12-month sentence on probation as part of his plea deal. He will also have to do a drug and alcohol evaluation within 30 days of getting out of jail. He will have to abstain from drinking alcohol, doing drugs and turn in all his weapons, and will undergo domestic violence counseling.

In July, Dro was arrested by the South Fulton Police Department after he and his girlfriend reportedly got into a fight over money and started throwing food at each other. Dro threw a plate of banana pudding at his girlfriend's face. XXL reported that his girlfriend said Dro hit her so hard she was bruised and he also destroyed furniture in the fight. Although she did not want to press charges, Dro was arrested anyway.
