Did you know Facebook has the largest facial recognition database in the world? It's bigger than the FBI's.
Each day, 300 million photos are uploaded to the site. Every time you tag a photo, on Facebook you are contributing to the database.
Here's how to turn off facial recognition:
- Go to Settings from the drop down arrow in the top right of your news feed
- Click on Timeline and Tagging
- Scroll to "Who sees tag suggestions when photos that look like you are uploaded?"
- Click "Edit" and select "No One" to disable facial recognition.
