3 DeKalb County Detention Officers Arrested

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga.,None — Three detention officers arrested on Monday could lose their jobs.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office said Officer Nelson Seals used unnecessary force on an inmate in May.

Officers Jean Bruno and Deborah Grier are accused of witnessing the incident and not properly reporting it to supervisors.

The sheriff's office has suspended all three officers without pay.

Seals is facing the most serious charges -- misdemeanor simple battery and violation of oath of office.
