LeGrande, now 22, told Fleischer he decided to come forward with his story after he saw the first two lawsuits filed against Long. "They said bishop has been accused of something, and my heart dropped. And that was my time that God told me to release what I had to say," said LaGrande.

LeGrande said even though he'd already told his family and a few friends about what happened, he did not truly feel free until he went public with his allegations of sexual abuse in this lawsuit. "There's only one way to God and that's the truth," he told Fleischer.

Spencer LeGrande was just 15 years old when his family joined the New Birth satellite church in Charlotte.

According to his lawsuit, he was moved to tears when he heard Long speak. He went to meet him, the bishop hugged him, and that was the beginning of their father-son relationship.

"I pray for him, too, I really do," LeGrande said. LeGrande won't talk about the bishop now, or details of the intimate moments they allegedly shared, which are spelled out in his lawsuit.

"Once God's time is ready for it to expose everything it's going to happen, and I just pray I want people to know to keep praying. Keep praying for our strength and for us getting through this," said LeGrande.

LeGrande moved back to Charlotte late last year, and confided in his family, an ex-girlfriend, and a few friends, including a police officer. He said he did not know about the claims from Maurice Robinson, Anthony Flagg, and Jamal Parris, until he heard them on the news.

LeGrande decided it was his time to speak out, too. "I wasn't free until I came out with it, that's when my life's been much better. This last week has been free."

LeGrande told Fleischer he didn't want to comment on Long's statements to the New Birth congregation.

He said he is now at peace, and he's gaining strength from his faith, and releasing his truth. "This is a hard time for the world and you know I have no hate for anyone because God doesn't produce hate. I pray for everyone, especially bishop, cause he knows the truth, he knows the truth."

LeGrande said his attorney has advised all of the victims not to comment on the specifics of the lawsuit right now.

Long's attorney, Craig Gillen, released another statement on Wednesday. "Unfortunately the plaintiffs and counsel are attempting to try their lawsuits in the media. The appropriate the place to try lawsuits is in the court room. There are rules on how civil litigation is to take place and how counsel should conduct themselves, we intend to follow those rules," Gillen said.
