SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Police are combing through surveillance video looking for clues that could lead them to two men wanted in the shooting death of a local store clerk.
Channel 2's Nefertiti Jaquez learned Tuesday afternoon the clerk had only worked at the Shell gas station for a week. %

Jaquez spoke to one customer who knew the clerk and was at the store moments before the shooting happened.
He said the clerk was a young man who took pride in his job and always had a smile on his face.
"When something like this happens, it effects everybody because we're close-knit," one customer said. “It's like one of the family members are gone."
The early-morning robbery and shooting along Old National Highway cut through the caring community.
"It’s like a neighborhood store. Everyone come up here, they know each other," said another customer, who identified himself as Mr. Parks.
Parks told Jaquez he was beside himself. He said he was at the store moments before police say two robbery suspects gunned down Muhammed Saeed, 20.
"I wish I would've stayed. Maybe nothing would have happened. I think if there were more than one person there, I don't think he would have done anything. They were looking for him to be myself," Parks said.
Detectives couldn't agree more.
They say surveillance video shows the two suspects casing the convenience store and waiting for the last customer to leave, before storming in.
One suspect was armed with a handgun. The other had a high-powered rifle.
Detectives working this case say the duo went around to the side door and opened fire before tearing the door from its frame.
The bad guys are seen in surveillance video taking off with a cash register drawer. Saeed was shot and rushed to the hospital, but there was nothing doctors could do.
“If we would have went in there with one gun and told the guy to give it up, he would've. They didn't have to kill him,” Parks said.
Anyone with information in this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
