PULASKI COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says two of five men who escaped from the the Pulaski County, Georgia jail have been captured.
The GBI issued a “Blue Alert” for the men on Saturday. Deputies say two of the men are murder suspects and all have a history of violence against others.

Deputies said Tyree Williams, Dennis Penix, Brandon Pooler, Tyree Jackson and Lewis Wendell Evans III escaped from the jail around 11 p.m. Friday night and stole a white Kia Sedona van from the jail parking lot.
The van has a license with Georgia Tag number CMP 8628. They did not know where the men were heading.
Jackson was taken into custody in Warner Robins, Georgia. On Monday, the GBI said Evans was taken into custody in Warner Robins on Sunday night.
The other three are still on the run.
Investigations believe they are armed with at least two stun guns.

Williams was in jail facing charges of felony murder and home invasion after a shooting incident in July 2020. Penix is accused of killing two men in what was called a “drug deal gone bad”. Investigators said Pooler is facing charges of child cruelty, Jackson is charged with a series of car-break-ins and Evans is accused of obstructing an officer.
The U.S. Marshal’s Service is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the direct arrest of any of the five men.
GSP Investigators and Pulaksi/Hawkinsville Sheriff’s deputies are warning people to not approach these men because they are considered dangerous. They’re asking anyone who may have seen or come across them to immediately call 911 or the GBI Tip Line at 1-800-597-8477.
