WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. — One person has died and another was critically injured when their small plane crashed on Tuesday, August 1 in Washington County, Georgia.
At around 9:30 am, 911 dispatchers received a call reporting the crash around the 2000 block of Kaolin Road.
Deputies and emergency crews located the crash site and the two victims in a wooded/marshy area about a half mile off the road.

The two victims, Timothy Fiser, 69, and Daniel Mensard, 67, were flown to separate trauma centers for treatment.
Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that Fiser died from his injuries on Friday.
There is no word on the current condition of Mensard.
