GIRARD, Ga. — Someone won over $510,000 in Monday’s Georgia Lottery Fantasy 5 drawing.
The lucky ticket was bought at the Girard Mall gas station in Girard, Georgia, a small town southeast of Augusta near the Georgia/South Carolina border.
The winning numbers were 05-09-11-32-38.

Another player won $50,000 in the Jan. 6 Powerball drawing when they matched four of the five white ball numbers, plus the Powerball.
That ticket was bought at the QuikTrip gas station at 1590 Mansell Road in Alpharetta.
The winning numbers for the Jan. 6 drawing were 17-34-46-66-67 with a Powerball number of 14. The Powerball multiplier was 2X.
The jackpot for the drawing was $220 million.
No one won the jackpot so the next estimated jackpot will be $240 million for the next drawing scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 8.
In Georgia, winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes.
The Georgia Lottery Corp. has made significant contributions to the state’s educational programs, returning over $28.3 billion since its inception.
All profits from the lottery support initiatives such as Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and the state’s Pre-K Program.
More than 2.1 million students have benefited from HOPE scholarships, and over 2 million 4-year-olds have participated in the voluntary prekindergarten program statewide.
