GA man found guilty of stealing blind victim’s custom guitar

LEE COUNTY, Ga. — A Georgia man will spend years behind bars after he was found guilty of burglary.

On Wednesday, a jury returned a guilty verdict for Robert Hoover of one count of burglary.

The Southwestern District Attorney’s Office said Hoover entered the home of a blind victim and stole a custom guitar.

A judge sentenced Hoover to 20 years, with the first 12 years to be served in prison.

The case was investigated by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
