GA police respond to another home riddled with bullets while homeowner was asleep

LAGRANGE, Ga. — The LaGrange Police Department is searching for a suspect who fired bullets into a home overnight.

Police say around 1:30 a.m. Monday, they responded to 1301 Polk Street to a shots fired into a a home.

When they arrived, they met with the homeowner who said two bullets traveled through her bedroom while she was inside.

While investigating, police found the home had been hit multiple times by bullets. Police also found that two vehicles in the front yard of the home were also hit by gunfire.

This is the second incident over the weekend where a home in Troup County was hit by gunfire.
