POLK COUNTY, Ga. — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office made an interesting arrest on Thursday.
Sheriff deputies say a pig named ‘Piggle’ escaped from his holding facility at a local farm and was “holding a woman hostage in her own home.”

Piggle then decide to cease his hostage situation and began to run around in the road and disrupt traffic, deputies said, endangering himself and others.
PCSO deputy Trevor Mayfield tried to apprehend Piggle, however, Piggle had other plans as he led the deputy on a brief chase before he was “arrested.”

“Despite him being one of our own, we cannot allow this kind of behavior, and hope that he learns his lesson and is able to get the help he needs,” the department said on Facebook.
Piggle was taken back to the farm he escaped from unharmed due to Mayfield’s actions.
