HANCOCK COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation at the request of the Sparta Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault that left a person injured.
On Friday, at 3 p.m., the Hancock County 911 Center received a call about people in a car shooting at another car.

The passenger was hit by gunfire multiple times and taken to the hospital. The condition of the passenger is unknown.
No arrests have been made at this time, police say.
The investigation is ongoing.
