TUNNEL HILL, Ga. — At least one person is dead, a highway was shut down and the National Guard was called to the scene after a chain reaction crash in North Georgia.

A military vehicle crashed with a Ford Fiesta Tuesday morning along Highway 4 near Tunnel Hill.

Police said Michael Bundy, of Pennsylvania, pulled out in front of a National Guard Humvee. The Humvee hit Bundy’s car, then went across a concrete barrier and hit a Chevrolet S-10.

The driver of that truck was killed in the wreck. Investigators have not released the identity of the driver.

Bundy has been arrested and charged with failure to yield right of way, homicide by vehicle in the second degree and operation of an unsafe vehicle.
