GILMER COUNTY, Ga. — With the treacherous conditions that yesterday’s snow posed for drivers’, first responders made it a point to encourage drivers to stay off the road for unnecessary purposes.
However, some did not heed that warning, leading to unfortunate circumstances on the road.

In Gilmer County, a driver hit one car on Ogden Road in Coosawattee River Resort, it tumbled down an embankment and flips over another car, narrowly missing people playing in the snow.
The Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office posted this video on Facebook saying, “This is why we are asking you to stay off of the road!”
