IRWIN COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are offering a reward for any information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for shooting an adult bald eagle in Irwin County.
Sadly, the bird had to be euthanized due to the injuries it sustained to its body cavity and wings.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to contact the game warden hotline at 800-241-4113 or the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Southeast Regional Office at 404-679-4000.
