JONESBORO, Ga. — Clayton County police were called to a hotel at 1:42 p.m. Monday after a housekeeper discovered a body in one of the rooms, police said.
The discovery was made at the InTown Suites Extended Stay in the 7000 block of Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro.
Clayton County police Sgt. Otis Willis told Channel 2 that a woman found the body of a white man in Room 108. Willis said the victim was in his 30s and investigators were working to identify him.
Willis said an investigation is under way and did not know whether foul play was involved.
