GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police say one person is dead after a crash involving three cars.
A tweet from Gwinnett police early Sunday morning said that the crash happened on Ronald Reagan Parkway westbound.

According to the police investigation, three vehicles were involved.
Two vehicles were driving eastbound on Ronald Reagan Pkwy, and one vehicle was traveling westbound when one of the eastbound vehicles sideswiped another and then traveled across the median hitting a vehicle going in the opposite direction.
The driver of the vehicle that sideswiped and crossed the median is dead.
The driver’s identity has not been released by police.

The westbound driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The sideswiped driver had minor injuries.
All three vehicles were impounded for further analysis.
Since the crash, Gwinnett police said the roadway is now clear.
