AMERICUS, Ga. — Two people were shot and one was killed at a Georgia American Legion Club on Memorial Day, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The shooting happened around 1:15 a.m. at the club in Americus.

Two people were injured and one has died. The victims’ names have not been released.
The American Legion is a non-profit of U.S. war veterans. It’s unclear if there was a Memorial Day gathering at the club when the shooting happened.
The club’s Facebook page advertised a birthday party featuring a DJ.

The GBI has not said if the shooters have been identified.
