ATLANTA — A 10-year-old boy is recovering in an Atlanta hospital days after he was seriously injured when he was involved in a crash with a car.
Warner Robbins police posted on Facebook that the boy was injured on Saturday night when he was hit by a car while on his bicycle on Sonja Drive.

The boy suffered a serious head injury and was taken to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon. He was listed in critical condition.
On Sunday, the boy was transferred to Children’s Hospital where he underwent surgery. He was still listed in critical condition.

No charges have been filed in this case.
