PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — A dozen people are facing charges after investigators say they shut down a stolen gun and drug trafficking ring in Paulding County.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s office says it was investigating reports of nearly 100 stolen guns.
The Haralson-Paulding Drug Task Force received information about several locations used for trafficking illegal drugs where large amounts of guns were also stored.
The agencies worked together to execute search warrants.

They targeted locations on White Pines Court, Emerald Pines Drive, and King Arnold Drive in Dallas, and Essex Lane in Hiram.
Detectives and agents seized 68 stolen guns along with methamphetamine, heroin, ecstasy, cocaine, prescription pills, and marijuana.
A dozen people are facing a variety of charges.
- Nathan Tyler Jacobs: Trafficking in Heroin, Methamphetamine, and Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II Dextroamphetamine, Schedule IV Alprazolam, Ecstasy, and Marijuana. Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Possession of Sawed-off Shotgun, and Theft by Receiving
- Jessica Nichole Simpson: Theft by Receiving, Possession of Sawed-off Shotgun
- Alysia Ashley Busher: Theft by Receiving, Possession of Sawed-off Shotgun
- Celia Cheyenne Alexander: Theft by Receiving, Possession of a Sawed-off Shotgun
- Meghan Renee Dover: Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon
- Toni B. Bertolo: Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of Heroin
- Jamie Nicole Ayers: Driving Without a License
- Brittney Paige Bickers: Arrest Warrant, Bartow County
- Kelley Ann Long: Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine
- Chester Wayne Blond: Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Failure to Appear Warrant, Crossing the Guard Line of the Jail With Contraband, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Methamphetamine
- Zebulon Norman David Hogeland: Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Failure to Appear Warrant (Paulding County), Possession of Methamphetamine
Investigators say the illegal drugs seized have a street value of over $12,000.00.
