ATLANTA — There are now 14 deaths and 485 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Georgia. That is up from 287 cases and 10 deaths yesterday.
This number could change later today. DPH said they will now update the number of cases twice a day at noon and 7 p.m. as the number of tests increases.

There are now 50 counties with confirmed cases, which is up from 35 counties yesterday.

According to the state’s data, 33 percent of the cases are people ages 60 or older, 41 percent are people ages 18 to 59, 25 percent are of unknown ages and 1 percent are between the ages of 0 and 17.
Here are the changes in the number of testing from Thursday to Friday, according to the DPH.
- Thursday: 1,323 tests at commercial labs with 174 positive tests
- Friday: 1,682 tests at commercial labs with 289 positive tests
- Thursday: 508 tests at Georgia Public Health Laboratory with 113 positive tests
- Friday: 704 tests at Georgia Public Health Laboratory with 131 positive tests
