FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A 16-year-old girl was killed Monday night in a single-car crash, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say the crash happened around 10:20 p.m. on Haw Creek Road.

Investigators determined that the teen, who was driving an Audi A4, failed to negotiate a curve, entered the oncoming lane, clipped a utility pole and hit a tree.
The teen, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies said she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
