FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — On Monday, Forsyth County fire officials were called to a farm located on Pea Ridge Road just after 4:30 p.m.
There was a large fire at one of the 12 chicken houses located at the property. The chicken house was a total loss, along with the 17,000 chickens housed there.

Luckily, no one else on the farm was injured in the fire.
It is believed the fire may have started due to some type of mechanical failure.
No other property on the farm was damaged.
