ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. — Two people are dead after a car ran into a home in Conyers.
The wreck happened near the intersection of Smyrna Road SW and Klondike Road SW around 8 p.m.
There is no word on what caused the wreck, but investigators say the car was likely speeding.
The two people inside the car, a man and a woman, were killed in the crash.
Another person was also injured in the incident.
Deputies said they had to secure the house before they could remove the car.
“It somewhat made the house on the back end unstable. So once the fire department came, they were able to stabilize the house and get in and that's when they were able to determine that the two occupants of the vehicle were deceased,” said Rockdale County Sheriff’s spokesperson Michael Meyers.
