2 Georgia men arrested on human trafficking charges after 2-week operation

More than 2 dozen children rescued in human trafficking bust

ATLANTA — Two men are facing decades in prison after they were arrested in a weeks-long human trafficking operation in metro Atlanta.

Steven Ray Stone and Undra Henderson were arrested this week in Fulton County and charged with Trafficking a Person for Sexual Servitude. Authorities said they rescued the alleged victim in the operation.

The arrests were a result of Operation Not Forgotten, a statewide, two-week operation to rescue endangered missing children.

The U.S. Marshals Service Missing Child Unit worked with the agency’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Georgia state and local agencies all coordinated in the operation.

“This office continues to attack the scourge of Human Trafficking, and we will work to put anyone abusing children behind bars,” said Attorney General Chris Carr. “We are grateful to have rescued this reported victim, and we hope our efforts will help rid Georgia of this evil industry. Combatting human trafficking requires an all-in approach, and we want to thank the U.S. Marshals Service, Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and the College Park Police Department for assisting our office in apprehending these individuals.”

Stone is facing three counts and Henderson is facing one count of Trafficking a Person for Sexual Servitude. If convicted, each count carries a sentence of 25 years imprisonment to life.
