1 killed in shooting at Marietta party

MARIETTA, Ga. — At least two people were shot early Wednesday morning at a Cobb County apartment complex.
 
Marietta police told Channel 2 Action News that there was a large party Tuesday night at the Dwell @ 750 apartments on Franklin Road. A group of four to five uninvited guests got into an argument with party-goers and shots were fired, striking three people, police said.
 
Police said one of the shooting victims, identified as 19-year-old Christopher Wilson, was transported to Kennestone Hospital where he later died. The two other victims were driven to the hospital by friends prior to the arrival of officers. The two victims were identified as 19-year-old Chauncey Martin and 18-year-old Malik Phillips.
 
The investigation is still active and detectives are currently following up on leads.
