BAINBRIDGE, Ga. — Georgia State Patrol troopers are investigating a crash in south Georgia after a 2-month-old was killed.

According to troopers on May 19 near GA 1 and Bethel Road in Bainbridge a Chevy Impala was traveling south on GA 1 and a school bus was traveling south.
The driver of the Impala failed to yield to the right of way to the school bus resulting in the front of the school bus hitting the passenger side of the Impala.
The 2-month-old was transported to a nearby hospital where the baby died. The child’s mother, who was driving the Impala was also transported to the hospital.

No one on the bus was injured.
The investigation is ongoing. At this time it is unclear if someone will face charges in the crash.
