ATLANTA — Atlanta police said they are investigating after two men were shot in southwest Atlanta. The victims say the shooter was riding an e-bike.

The shooting was reported near 1165 Oakland Lane SW at an apartment complex.
In an afternoon update, police said the two wounded men arrived at Fire Station 14, 1203 Lee St. SW. Police responded at the fire station at around 2:20 p.m.
The two men, ages 27 and 38, were taken to the hospital by ambulance, and were alert, conscious and breathing, police say.

Investigators say the victims were standing outside at the Oakland Lane location when a suspect riding by on an e-bike shot at them.
Police did not identify the suspect or victims, but police said in an afternoon news conference that the suspect was known to the victims.
Police said it’s early in the investigation and they have decent leads to follow up on. But there’s no danger to the general public.
Atlanta police said there’s no indication this shooting is related to another shooting APD is investigating at 320 Fairburn Road.
Anyone who has information about the shooting should call CrimeStoppers. Police also would like the public’s help if their cameras may have caught anything in connection to the incident.
