SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Two students were stabbed during a fight at Banneker High School Wednesday morning, Fulton County Schools has confirmed to Channel 2 Action News.
A Fulton County Schools spokesman said two students had non-life-threatening injuries after a fight involving a stabbing on campus around 9 a.m.
Fulton County Schools police initiated a lockdown while school officials investigated.
Three students were taken into custody. None of the students involved in the fight have been identified.
The district did not say what object was used in the stabbing.
Video sent to Channel 2 Action News shows someone being wheeled out of the high school on a stretcher.
Channel 2′s Tom Regan was at the high school Wednesday afternoon, where students described the chaos and the violent fight.

Jerome Jones said there was a big commotion in the hallway around 9 a.m.
“They said they were going to shoot or something,” Jones said.
Students all rushed for the door, where they saw blood.
“I saw a lot of blood,” Malek Ware said. “There was like trails of blood on the walls, on the floors. My class was praying for the person who got stabbed.”
Police told Regan that the students who were stabbed have non-life-threatening injuries.
Banneker’s principal, Jason Stamper, wrote in a statement to parents, in part:
“The senseless act of violence that occurred today is not who we are at Banneker High School. Some students made a poor choice today and because of it, our students and our school community have been harmed. Such behaviors will not be tolerated, and our safety team is working in collaboration with school police to make sure that we take all necessary measures to ensure that Banneker remains a safe place for our students to learn and grow.”
