Deion Patterson, 24, was later arrested in Cobb County after an hours-long manhunt.

Daniel said in a GoFundMe set up to help with her expenses as she recovers that she is the mother of a one-year-old son.

“I was in the process of clocking out for lunch when I was shot in the chest and abdomen,” Daniels wrote. “It’s a blessing that I am alive and breathing. I wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone; I have suffered mentally and physically. Not only have I suffered but my family, friends, and loved ones.”

Daniels said that in addition to her work at the doctor’s office, she runs her own sweets and cake business on Instagram and has had to cancel orders due to her injuries.
