There are new steps to get people to help keep black bears out of Gwinnett County neighborhoods.
Our Channel 2 camera caught a large black bear eating grapes earlier this week.
Georgia DNR says it might be one of 5 in the area. They are now attaching warning notices to mailboxes.
They are asking neighbors to get rid of bird feeders or anything that might attract bears to their homes.

"I believe it would be a pretty good swap. get rid of the feeder and get rid of the bear at the same time,” said homeowner Roy Mitcham.
DNR officials say they will kill the bear if it gets too comfortable being around humans or if it becomes a threat.
