GRIFFIN, Ga. — The city of Griffin Police Department posted on Facebook that someone left seven 1-week-old puppies in the parking lot of a Hobby Lobby store in Griffin. The store is located at 1424 N. Expressway.
Investigators said the puppies were left there around 9:30 a.m. on Monday. Police said the person who left them in the parking drove away in a black Nissan Versa.
The puppies were spotted by employees and shoppers of other businesses in the same shopping plaza, who then called police and animal control.

Animal control estimated the puppies to be about a week old. The puppies were taken to a veterinarian who determined them to be somewhat healthy.
