DAHLONEGA, Ga. — UPDATE: Thank you for sharing. He has been located safe and is now with his family.
The Lumpkin County’s Sheriff Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 71-year-old.
Dewey Early Huff, whose nickname is Sonny, was reported missing Sunday afternoon. Deputies say that Huff is in danger because he has dementia.

Huff was last seen around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon at a home off Ga. 115 near Pierces store and Emory Stephens Road.
The sheriff’s office said he has disappeared before and was located near the store trying to hitchhike.
Huff was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue plaid shirt, cowboy boots and a hat.
